We had our wedding ceremony at the Mountainside terrace, and our reception in the Colorado Room and Albert's lodge. It was the first wedding venue we looked at and every venue after it we compared it to Spruce Mountain Ranch and they just couldn't compete. Everyone there is very helpful and friendly. And Brus was such a fantastic person to work with. You were the couple of OUR dreams! From a cost perspective, you get one of the cheaper site fees in the Denver metro area and you get more than your money's worth for that: an adorable cottage to get ready in; a built-in backup location for rain; the ranch all to yourself; chairs and tables; and an on-site contact to help keep everyone and everything in order.
Our primarily of town guests LOVED the venue and couldn't get over the views from our ceremony site. In fact, we require that all ceremony only packages include a professional planner be hired by the couple, in order to use the property. The SMR girls feel like family to me, and I knew how much they wanted my day to go off without a hitch. Tara, the owner was amazing to work with. The facilities, of course, are beautiful and amazing. Our group of 220 took over the upper ranch and we had all the space -- and more -- that we needed. without added decor.
