We utilized it as a meeting place throughout the trip. The facility is nonsmoking and has a relaxing courtyard. We utilized it as a meeting place throughout the trip.
Our trip was fantastic and that was partly due to this little gem of place.
The shared courtyard is great. We utilized it as a meeting place throughout the trip. We came for our honeymoon, the manager checked us in and upgraded us to her favorite room! We walked all over the French Quarter and slept like babies. A beautifully renovated courtyard with patio seating is the setting for our complimentary continental breakfast. They scheduled tours for us and recommended the best restaurants! The courtyard has been the backdrop of many weddings over the years. Luckily he ran off and disappeared before he completely came in!

Daily cleaning service is provided by the staff. Don,has Excellent Customer Service skills and Very helpful with the tours. We will definitely be staying here again.Thank you for your positive review of our historical guesthouse. I asked him to apologize to my friend for accusing me of that, which he did. Some rooms include antique furnishings. Taxes and fees that are shown are estimates only.
The staff was always helpful and available. Facilities here include a designated area for smoking, a carpark and a vending machine. Nice area away from the downtown actions, but not too far to get some exercise in, walking. Super clean too! Each guest room at New Orleans Guest House has a cable TV, and ceiling fans. Of course that was nice of him, but it was done because he woke up to the ridiculousness of the situation. Please see our partners for more details.New Orleans Guesthouse is located across the street from the World Famous French Quarter and just 3 blocks from Bourbon Street The 14 individually appointed rooms have cable TV and free WiFi. Yes it is old but it is romantic old. We all hope to have the pleasure of welcoming you back for a future stay.Awesome facility! Friendliest staff of any hotel I have been to. We certainly did not mean to offend him.I love that this is in a historical building. The facility is non-smoking and has a relaxing courtyard. As a result I was left, sick, wandering around the street until I reached my friend. No kettle in the room but hot water/coffee was always available in the main house.
Our room (9) was very small, but comfortable and with leopard carpet! The person at the desk didn’t have time to look up whether I was on the reservation but he had time to take a photo of a toilet.
It's a been a long time since I have felt this disrespected.First of all this guest was NOT a registered guest. He said he wouldn't call my friend, refused to see if I was in the system, and just kept repeating that he didn't know me. But in our offense, being located in a big city with our share of homeless people, we can not just have anyone wandering in and out of our guesthouse and again this gentleman was NOT a registered guest. He then offered us a discount if we came back. We do have an great location to all the local attractions as well as an excellent staff that truly care about our guests. He never asked me for my friend's name and refused to check the reservation in the computer. However the fact the doors to the balcony don’t have a lock made us feel extremely unsafe and we couldn’t sleep here as a result.
Never needed to rent a cab or a car! We look forward to seeing you on a future visit when you visit our magnificent city again. The Guest House is in a perfect location, about a 10 minute walk to the French Quarter, so close enough to all the action but it was very quiet in the evening. !Love the room, Love the patio area with the Gorgeous plants and Loved the sitting area out front of the building. Own or manage this property? Overview Located in 5 minutes walking distance from Louis Armstrong Park, the 3-star New Orleans Guest House offers non-smoking rooms. No. Our group took up about half of the hotel and each couple's room was unique. Upon check-out, it was noted that he indeed was a friend of a registered guest so the manager did indeed apologize. The next day, I heard (the walls are pretty thin) the manager tell my friend that I needed to leave when he left, an hour before the posted check out time of 11am. The staff was always helpful and available. She could not have been more gemerous with her time or more helpful in safe places to go. And of course I will never stay here again. I would definitely stay there again without hesitation. This quirky hotel is right on the edge of the French Quarter. He also questioned why I didn't have the code to the door outside (I had it in my phone and I told him that but he just kept repeating that I should have it, ignoring me) and when I asked to use the bathroom and where it was located started to question why I wouldn't know where it was.
Would a rational person accuse someone of putting paper associated with toilet paper in a toilet bowl of retribution for anything?
