It is a quick read as I finished it in 2 days flat. Amrapali's extraordinary beauty and charm was also known far and wide. She is mentioned in the old Pali texts and Buddhisttraditions, particularly in conjunction with the Buddha staying at her mango grove, Ambapali vana, which she later donated to his order and wherein he preached the famous Amba… Nothing much is said about her links to Bimbisara or Gautama Buddha except in a passing reference. The story's complete flow was very natural. Was expecting to explore the life of Amrapali as well as her acceptance of Buddhism in her life.
