It cycles on and off when it needs to and maintains the temperature and keeps the humidity at a comfortable level . This is a great product and we like how it cycles off and on to hold the temperature you have set. Through-the- wall air conditioners are self-contained units that quickly cool rooms and other spaces. I also got some trim to cover the refrigerant lines & drain hose that would otherwise be exposed on the side of the house.
It's very hot and my wife is at home in hospice care. Cools quickly. I am doing so because the above and beyond service that I have already received from Todd VIA email with Star Air Kontrol.
I wouldn't recommend them at all.

Mostly using it for heat now but I was able to test it for cooling on a warmer day and it performed great. This was so fast and easy, even during a national emergency. Todd was very friendly and helpful.I never got a chance to even shop at their store.
