Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl is all set to release on 12 August. It’s a beautiful film written with simplicity and is also entertaining. In a smart move, there’s no visible pancake, and the flyaway hair and uniform worn as one, not a tightly-clinched costume, makes her look real. Now, in the lockdown is when I got to be with her and I realised she has an amazing sense of humour.I always believe that films don’t change a person or the world. I hadn’t seen his videos then, neither did I want to adapt his physicalities.
I was missing the time with her.
