The 800-acre site is located between mile marker 22 and 23 on the Calcasieu River, or about 5 miles south of Carlyss, and is expected to bring thousands of jobs. Tellurian initiated a process to raise $24bn for Driftwood Holdings, with Goldman Sachs and SG Americas Securities serving as financial advisors, in January 2018.
