This scent is for a grown up woman, who knows what she wants from life. And this lasts all day it's just so strong and underrated and a very affordable fragrance now. If you like vanilla but you're bored of plain girly vanilla, try this one. I'm very lucky in that throughout my history and love affair with perfume, I've only come across a handful of scents that either didn't agree with me or just didn't fit me or my personality. Nothing screams out "I'm different" to you, it just blends in with all the other heavy scents you've smelt before. It is on a level with my treasured Hypnotic Poison Elixir, but which is more complex than "just" vanilla. Powdered almond and softly floral vanilla waft endlessly about, creating the most beautiful sillage. A new vanilla love! Finally I like it very much. I started taking clothes off my bed and all of a sudden, I took the blouse that I had on that I changed before I left to run my errands. it is like Feve delicieuse dior with tons of green bay leaf added. I was planning on buying a back up bottle of Jimmy Choo, but feel the same cosy warmth from this. Mmmmm....on my skin, it smells like sweet pipe tobacco. It gives off a powdery floral vanilla musky scent on me. For mature women, evening fragrance. It's vanilla herbal tea with an excessive amount of honey in it. The fragrance remains in my Hall of Parfum in the top 10. It’s hard to describe, but as you’ve worn it and grown accustomed to it you might notice it smells like “herbal vanilla candy canes.” It starts off highly herbal (bay leaf) and goes through various stages before the candy cane vanilla dry down. Typically Lalique. There is vanilla yes, but not the typical sweet vanilla that doesnt develope and makes you sick after a while. You would need to be in a large open space to wear it without overwhelming your company. Think sweetish pipe tobacco plus La Mome minus the sweet raspberry note but more resinous oriental notes and you're on the right track. A very herbal opening evaporates immediately into a unique dry vanilla. The bay, which gives it a very slightly medicinal quality at first, quickly fades and leaves pure vanilla. Aromatic bay gives this an undercurrent of freshness almost savory...so much so that I would say it’s appropriate to wear on a dinner date or an event where food features, much like Luca Turin said of Shalimar. In tiny amounts, I find it calming to sniff. It stands out. I imagine a sexy, intellectual corporate type in this. My friends and I would play with it, smelling it and nibbling tiny bits. This is one that shines when you've NOT got your nose buried in it. This does remind me of Mon Guerlain. I'll always have this in my collection ~ She is a wanted addition ~ Welcome Home ~ ///=^} ~. I love it. I probably put too much on and the bay vanilla explosion was not working. I bought it blind. Are you a vanilla? (Then again I stopped worrying about that the day I turned 30 years old). It is exactly this smell that I detect for a short time in Le Parfum in concert with the Bay, 'Laurus nobilis'. It's a creamy tonka icecream with a few dashes of spice and pepper thrown in for good measure. There's nothing left from the bitterness I experienced before. Classy and smells rich. 4,312 votes. It is not gourmand or too sweet. I like it very much, but on my skin it just a whisper. Maybe once I let out those first sprays it settled. Elegant crowd pleaser. The bottle design is just simply stunning. I bought it a while ago but I wouldn't want to wear it every day, it's too special. Boozy, sweet, airy and still thick vanilla. Cacao, almond, heliotrop, very nice. This is so me. I have Costume national homme, my wife has this one and I bought my mom Kenzo jungle which I know she loves. Bold, peppery and spicy, extremely long-lasting and expensive smelling. Perfumes Mujer. Been intrigued by this one for quite a while and finally got my hands on a sample. I love the bay leaf note at the top! I blind bought it--hesitantly, because of the mixed reviews--but I am a vanilla fiend, and I enjoy quite a few of Dominique Ropion's other scents, so I decided to take the plunge. Second review: I don't know what I sniffed couple of days ago, but this is absolutely gorgeous cozy vanilla - aromatic with delicate spices. It is not quite feminine. Don't be fooled by my description, I really like this a lot!! The "sandalwood" is noticeable but as with many fragrances that list sandalwood these days, it smells a little generic sawdust-y but since it doesn't dominate, doesn't wreck the scent for me. Alle Rechte vorbehalten.Schweizer Onlineshop für Uhren, Schmuck und Accessoires. After about 10 minutes it turns into a mix of heliotrope and white flowers which gives me a headache for about 30 minutes. Totally unisex and a great compliment getter, this is the kind of vanilla I like, spicy and aromatic. I’d call this a delicious chilly vanilla. It’s even gotten me compliments. I have been wearing it almost every day for the past couple of weeks so this is definitively a good grab and go for the winter. For me, the opening was great for about 5 seconds and then the bay leaf was front and center with some pink pepper. Perfume lovers: 619265 It’s a mature take on vanilla but not a granny like mature. Not a challenging fragrance but rich and comfortable. not just in the top notes but for hours until the vanill finally shows itself,an unpleasant female odour emerged right from the beginning,i wont go into detail,i am a female myself, maybe the bay i dont know but its not for my chemistry.i have never experienced any reaction to a perfume the way i have this one.i seem to be the only one who has had an unpleasant experience,i bought it because the reviews are all over the moon.i will gladly swop it for a sweet vanille, guerlain l'instant magic or similar.this is a brand new unused, genuine lalique from a good seller on ebay.i also bought chopard casmir and that was fine.such a lovely bottle, but this is not for me,sweet regards to all. One of the few vanilla fragrances that is not sticky sweet, Lalique le Parfum includes enough fresh green bay laurel to counterbalance vanilla's sugary qualities. When I first learned of this perfume and its notes, it was immediately added to my want list. This though is so different and delicious. Seems like it would be a crowd pleaser/men would like it though and you can find it for cheap so it's worth a try. It does smell classy though, definitely mature. For years I've obsessed over, very specifically, the luxuriant fresh opening of this scent, but for years I've also been repeatedly disappointed by the overly sweet drydown. On the right person I'm sure it would smell lovely, it just doesn't work for me at all :(. I love the spicy bay/pink pepper top notes here, the feminine heliotrope and jasmine florals, that sweet rich tonka, vanilla, patch base. Overall, Le Parfum is an excellent gourmand scent with good performance. Maybe the perfume bloomed a bit with time. It's amazing! I like it a lot, and can't wait to buy a bottle of this. Encuentra el Perfume de Mujer que buscas para ti o para regalar en Falabella.com. I find it quite different and superb. There are lot of vanilla perfumes but this is one of the best ,a spicy (laurel and pepper), woody, not cloyingly sweet, very grown up and seductive, extra sexy. Such a lovely scent but there is no lasting power whatsoever :( Stunning bottle as well! Niche-like scent; far from being main stream. This is one gorgeous, distinctive and addictive scent that I never would have considered had I not read the reviews on Fragrantica. We both adore the dry down on me so I wait patiently for top notes to settle. It's perfect for the winter. Warm, sweet, boozy, inviting vanilla, so comforting and just a pleasure to inhale. I can not imagine wearing this in the summer, but it's perfect for cold and damp weather. My husband finds the dry down to be too feminine while I find the top notes to be a bit masculine for me liking. Dont put on a lot. I was also intrigued by the addition of the bay and thought that it would add an unexpected, but pleasant twist to this scent. It is a well hidden treasure and i understand most of the reviewers here, this perfume can take a very special place in a perfumsta collection :-). 4th bottle - still in love with Lalique le Parfum EdP =). This perfume is a BEAST! Most people are going to love it and the bottle. My father loved Cabochard but didn't wear it because , at the time, Cabochard was deemed feminine. Vanilla monster alert. One of my favourite late autumn/winter fragrances. It's feminine and classy. Nude. Perfumes: 64688 Fragrance Reviews: 1042403 Perfume lovers: 618886 Online right now: 1560 I bought this anyway, as it is totally different. It lasts along time with great sillage, another bonus. It turns out me and everyone around me love Ropion's creations. Philips is a diversified health and well-being company, focused on improving people’s lives through meaningful innovation. First peppery/bay leafy whiff that is a bit of 'cold ashtray' but in a good way if it makes any sense. The opening is very aromatic a bit medicinal. It is feminine and sexy in a unique way - not "cheap blonde sexy", but smart/witty/intellectual kind of sexy. And the soft tones of perfumes fit the bill for some of us. I then smelled my hand, and the scent was on my hand, but faint. (Niche and super expensive brands are highly overrated, IMO, at least in the vanillic oriental category.). This is the best way how I can describe what Le Parfum smells like. Seems that my vanilla must be moderated by something else that equals or overpowers the vanilla; vanilla+leather+rubber in Bvlgari Black is breathtakingly beautiful. while it is at this price. Wow, opulent beautiful surprise from Denmark))). It reminds me of Dior home intense. After that It becomes sweeter and mature without boring me because it's not a vanilla cake fragrance, I detect the almond but not sweet, very real. I absolutely love anything with almonds, vanilla, heliotrope and tonka, not to mention patchouli. This perfume is so light and powdery, it almost comes with a texture. Mmm,I looove vanilla&almond in this one!lt's a classy, expensive french scent .Definitely not a girly frag.Exellent sillage and longivity. I thought I had found a new tool to aid in social distancing; spray yourself in this perfume before going out. I like other vanilla, balsamic, powdery scents and also many other creations of Mr. Ropion. It's something in the vein of light summer breeze frags like Versace Man eau Fraiche, Nautica Voyage etc. I have never seen a fragrance evolve into something so amazing. Classy scent, what a beauty. I love the warmth of the vanilla and the balsamic is prominent to me. I had such high hopes for this fragrance! I don't love it but I like its uniqueness. Lalique Le Parfum Perfume 3.3 oz EDP... (28.55 USD), Buy it online BIG SALE on or Many items for sale on, Perfume rating I actually quite like this! I bught recently as a blind buy. Very heady and sweet oriental with excellent silage and longevity - it lasted well over 10 hours on me. 4.03 For me there is no dominant note in this and it is a very well balanced scent. It's a long lasting caramelized vanilla that's perfect for the upcoming cool weather. It reminded me of something I have smelled before but couldn't put my finger on. At least not where we live. I am sampling Lalique Le Parfum at the moment and the more I wear it the more I love it. Bottle is gorgeous, scent is amazing, longevity A+, and it’s inexpensive online. My gripe with this is that it lasts approximately 14 seconds on my skin before disappearing. Peppery, spicy. Some men asked me what l wear but l never told them, only to my friends. One of my top 10 favorites of my entire collection. It's too masculine for me. Got my sample of this today, (thank you lovely Diamonds), I've been dying to try this and I'm so glad to be able to write this review for you. Lalique Le Parfum is the perfect vanilla with something more: it’s sweet, it’s spicy, it’s balsamic... but all that has been done before. At the end it gets a creamy and sweet consistence. I don't like it, but I would like it on a guy I think. I think so. Maybe it was too freshly made when I first got it. It has a very LONG staying power and the notes in this perfume are of good quality, the details on this bottle are absolutely gorgeous. First of all, I am a fan of sweet fruity fragrance aka what other people call as a girly frag. A masculine oriental gourmand for men. Its more of a sheer, tonka/honey sweet. It was a monster. As it dries down I begin to detect eau de Barbie doll in the mix. I pick up a plasticy note in the top but it fades within minutes. Love it. My first impression was synthetic, thick, heavy syrup, with some sort of "off" note that sticks in the craw. To me or to people around me. It projects a wonderful "handsome image." Most vanillas are either too sugary, sometimes cloyingly so or too gourmand. This is neither, I have nothing against gourmands (I love Fantasy, Fancy, Egeo Choc and plenty of others) but there are many perfumes beyond that genre. Then again, my skin tends to heavily amplify sweet notes, especially vanilla. So, in the drawer it went. At first I felt like this scent was too loud and mature for me, but after the impressionable opening it settled into a soft powdery vanilla scent which also somewhat reminds me of lipstick scent. Just one small spray and people will be commenting on it. Sweet, soft vanilla with pink pepper and powder and lots of bay leaf. It is not far off of man's Lalique Hommage a L'Homme and Bentley for men. I like it, but not in love, I can feel sg interesting and weird in this composition, reminds me sg old smell in the past like camphor, sweet and bitter at the same time, maybe cause of the bay with the vanilla. And I have to say, if this sample is anything to go by, I much prefer the glasswork branch of the company to the perfume department: although I don't dislike this scent, it's just not my thing - and there are others from this category that I've enjoyed a lot more despite that fact. Disarmingly loud, charmingly chemical, touchingly linear, distorting one's sweet tooth - do tell me what's not to love in here? Online right now: 1875, Fragrantica in your language: It is a soft, sweet, complex and aromatic vanilla. Sweet but with a twist. I couldn’t even stand it on him. Yammy, creamy and a bit loud. The signature Lalique is there, most of their perfumes I tried have an aromatic and creamy depth. I have absolutely no idea what in this fragrance is producing the synthetic cherry note, but I just can't get past how much it smells like cough syrup with my chemistry. The middle and base notes are what this fragrance is all about and they quickly dry down into something creamy-sweet, sparkling and warm. Perfumes: 64737 I love when she wears this classy perfume. The prominent bay note adds depth and a pleasant spiciness, along with pink pepper. Its smells almost identical to Shalimar Initial. It's an elegant, simple blend of vanilla, powder and musk on me. So spicy sweet and great in the winter. i was expecting a sweeter fragrance. Firstly, the bottle is beautiful. I really enjoy how different most perfumes are during different seasons. This scent rides on the powder train as the caboose - i smell more vanilla than powder and more spice than sweetness- I totally love ---wait what was I talking about the scent is gone already. I can smell jasmine and it adds an ethereal presence to the entire blend. BUT there is nothing at all interesting or unique about this scent, its just your average run-of-the-mill type of perfume. Much less “classic” than Shalimar, this balmy and balsamic vanilla is warm and delicious, but really needs solidly cold temperatures to shine properly, IMO. All things that come to mind when I smell this perfectly blended vanilla perfume, West Indian Bay Leaf is stunning as it takes a (not too far) back seat to let this vanilla beauty shine! The dry-down on clothing after several hours is lovely, but I don't think I can get past the beginning and middle of this to get to that point, when I have other perfumes in my collection with similar notes that are sublime to my nose from start to finish. I detested this perfume the first time I tried it. Here is a tip, mix with Aquolina Pink Sugar (yeah, i said it) and it will last forever and you will receive major compliments (this is not a fable). 3.5/5. Einfach Auftrag einstellen, Handwerker auswählen und Geld sparen! When I give some thought to it, I can tell that it is not a regular vanilla composition - meaning it isn't overly sweet, and it isn't choked up with fruits and flowers. The bay note stood out more vivid...The difference between two formulas is not huge, just enough to be noticeable. I would love to smell the older version as the scent is fantastic and to me unisex, but very disappointing performance. Hmm I guess this perfume is a lot different on me than on others. Longevity was moderate, lasted around 4 hours on my skin, but the bay leaf scent was so off putting to me, I had to sell this one. I was determined to find out where the odor was coming from. The sandalwood, bay and patchouli make this very easy for a man to wear. If I am running out of the door, I can usually grab it and spray it on without worrying about offending anyone. A keeper. Key word being sweet. It is sweet but not in the sugary way and is easily unisex, it has an underlying edginess which gives it a mature feel. Let it drift up to your nose. No problem. I love when the scent is sweet, but balanced enough so it does not get tired. This smells like a classy, easy going lady. Tbh it takes me whole 3 weeks to decide that I should own this frag. It must be the bay leaf that pushes LLP into “special” territory, and into unisex territory. Isn't it strange how you can dislike a perfume , put it away, have a craving months down the road and suddenly love the scent! The thing I like about DHI is the herbal lavender opening but it quickly fades into dull powdery vanilla nothingness - Le Parfum in turn keeps the aromaticity and only sweetens up a little bit. I smell this in the back ground of this scent. Imagine a very young Robert Redford or Brad Pitt. Uhren, Schmuck und Aceessories günstig bei Helen Kirchhofer online kaufen. Ever since this fragrance was launched, I am wearing it. The addition of the bay takes it from yawn to something interesting and unusual. The Indian Bay Leaf makes this powdery vanilla delight something special. Longevity is quite good ( 9 hour plus) and sillage is heavy. Ridiculously good. I have to children in diapers I want to smell something other then baby powder lol. Okay, I said that smells kind of strange, not unpleasant, just not what I expected. Usually I'm head over heels for Lalique fragrances. You dont even need to be at the right mood and this can make Le Parfum Lalique easily a signature. I'm sure that most people would classify this as a winter scent but I could see myself wearing at any time I am one that will wear a fragrance anytime and any gender label if I like it enough. Maybe just the way it looked or past reviews had given me that impression. Don't miss in your collection. Loads of people talk about best vanilla perfumes and they forget this gem. The vanilla in this is to die for with a fresh spicy composition and a touch of powder to make it a tad bit feminine. Creamy. Three sprays. I put both in the same aromatic vanilla family in my collection. It's right there next to hypnotic poison for me. I grew up in Southwestern Kentucky where tobacco is the number one cash crop. If you like the oregano in Serge Lutyens Amber Sultan, you would also like the level of spiciness in here, just with vanilla instead of amber. I would say it’s not a safe blind buy though; because it’s unusual and might not be what you’re expecting of a “vanilla frag,” depends on what you’re familiar with. If you like this type of perfumes, I guess you`ll love it. There are days when I feel like pampering myself and just indulging on me. I'd call it a light oriental. This is so sweet to me! I'll continue through to the base to see if this fragrance redeems itself, but it appears that this one is just not compatible with my skin chemistry. I couldn’t get past the bay leaf. Lalique Le Parfum was a fragrance I had been tempted to blind buy on many occasions. It is confident enough to round profiles with notes of bay leaf, pepper and jasmine. I have the original vintage box and version. It is easily wearable and although I don’t really smell it on myself, others do. I blind bought this perfume together with Calvin Klein Shock For Him. I think it's quite fun and for the price you'd be mad not to procure yourself a bottle of it. I told them, and also that I couldn't smell anything myself, and they insisted that I write down the name of my perfume on a piece of paper. I am not - it gave me a bad headache... Lalique Le Parfum Perfume 3.3 oz EDP... (. I literally could not smell anything else....but the bay leaf! Either way, this cube fell into my life, and I the wearer, all the better for it. This was a blind buy (based upon the very good reviews here). The first spray was a surprise. This perfume is fab!!! I smelt like I had rolled around in an herbal spice cabinet. Flowers with a hint of vanilla and a hefty dose powder. Become a member of this online perfume community and you will be able to add your own reviews.
